Student Council and National Honor Society

The MSHS Student Council functions as the primary representative entity for the MSHS student community. Under the guidance of Mr. Neppala, the council comprises of student members representing each grade level. Our primary objective is to discuss upcoming events and address any concerns that impact the students within our school. In addition, the Council's President and Vice President will have the opportunity to hold separate meetings with Ms. Lopez, in collaboration towards enhancing the school's environment for the benefit of all students.
The National Honor Society is a dedicated and diverse group committed to serving our school community and beyond. Our team creates events that Metro students and staff can participate in and enjoy. These events and activities also provide students of all grades opportunities to accumulate community service hours. Additionally, we conduct fundraisers for various non-profit organizations. We occasionally collaborate with the school's Student Council to organize larger events. Our team comprises of dedicated and productive members who take pride in being part of the National Honors Society. Membership is exclusive to our school's top scholars who maintain an average of 85 or higher.
